The Chatty Cat Way
Meet Miss Cat!

Hi! I’m Catherine DiTroia, M.S., CCC-SLP, but most of my families know me as “Miss Cat.” I’m a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist based in Scottsdale, Arizona, and the founder of Chatty Cat Speech Therapy.
For the past seven years, I’ve had the privilege of helping children and young adults grow their communication skills, build confidence, and find their voice. I have experience working with individuals ages 2–21 across a variety of settings, including developmental preschool, public schools, private practice, and pediatric home health.
At Chatty Cat Speech Therapy, my approach is rooted in neurodiversity-affirming, child-centered care that celebrates communication successes and honors communication in all its forms. I believe therapy should build on each child’s unique strengths, interests, and communication style while creating a fun, engaging, and play-based environment where they feel supported and encouraged.
Above all, I want every child to feel comfortable, confident, accepted, and free to be their authentic self. I can't wait to work with you and your child!

Initial evaluation
An evaluation is the first step in understanding your child’s communication skills and determining whether speech therapy may be beneficial. Through parent input, observation, and individualized assessment, we’ll identify your child’s unique strengths, areas for support, and recommendations for next steps. Evaluations are typically completed in one 60–90 minute session.
Therapy Sessions
In-home therapy sessions are individualized to your child’s unique strengths, needs, and goals. Sessions are fun, engaging, and play-based, with an emphasis on building meaningful communication skills and confidence while giving families practical strategies to support progress at home.
